Why should you join the YBAC? Think of it, trout fishing with bait or artificial– for trophy trout– in public waters all year long. If you would like to become a member of an organization that stocks over 36,000 trout each year, including many trophies over 20 inches, you should join the Yellow Breeches Anglers & Conservation Association, Inc. The trout, provided by the PA Fish & Boat Commission, are raised in the club nursery and released throughout the year in the famed Yellow Breeches Creek in Cumberland County.

As a Member of the YBAC, you will join over 1,400 other anglers and conservationists from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and many other states across the country helping to preserve and enhance on one of the finest trout fisheries east of the Mississippi. Your annual dues go towards raising and stocking trout for public fishing, as well as maintaining the natural resource so precious to all of us. In addition, you will receive regular newsletters announcing stocking dates, volunteer opportunities, and club activities.

YBAC membership is open to all individuals who are interested in assisting us in efforts, as well as reaping the benefits of those efforts. In a time when the public seems to be loosing sight of the importance of conserving our natural resources, it’s essential that we sportsmen and women work together. That’s why you should consider joining the YBAC! It’s a good move.

Feel free to visit our Alma Thornton nursery, near the intersection of Routes 74 and 174 in Cumberland County. We’re just about one half mile from the Allenberry-on-the-Yellow-Breeches in the town of Boiling Springs. We look forward to seeing you there!

Members: Don't forget to renew your membership each year. You can do so by stopping by one of the meetings or by downloading a membership form. Due to the increase in postage please add $3.50 to help cover the cost of mailing your button and card.

Memberships for the next year will be accepted beginning in September (Fall stocking, Open House, or the Pig Roast) and will  be valid from Jan 1 of the next year until Dec 31.
